Gucci Mane says he just cut a record with Outkast.

Beloved Atlanta fixture and world-class Simpsons fan Gucci Mane has had his legal troubles in the past, but now the Artist Formerly Known as Radric Davis is free and has apparently been keeping extremely busy.

“I just did a record for Outkast. I just did a record for Wayne. I just did a record for Boosie. I just did a record for Project Pat. I just did a record for E-40,” Gucci says in a recent Snapchat to his followers, whom he seemingly thought would get excited over the prospect of new Project Pat material. Here’s the snap in question:

If Gucci is telling the truth, and there’s no reason to believe he isn’t (despite his tendency to try and make us believe Bart is smoking), does this mean Andre 3000 and Big Boi are once again working together despite there not being a true collaborative OutKast effort since 2006’s Idlewild? For their parts, both 3k and Big Boi have remained musically active since their hiatus and did reunite to perform at Coachella and a string of other festivals back in 2014, so a new Outkast album isn’t entirely a pipe dream

Are the Dungeon Family’s two most prominent members going to ride again? Time will tell, but let’s hope a Gucci Mane/Outkast collab doesn’t remain in the vaults.
