"Can my humour at times be inappropriate and immature? Yes."

Bro-country linchpin, current Gwen Stefani squeeze, and The Voice judge every contestant hopes doesn’t pick them, Blake Shelton, has apologized publicly for offensive tweets from his past. Twitter user @MusicFactsTea unearthed some of Shelton’s old tweets, and they manage to hit the shitty triple crown: they’re homophobic, racist, and misogynistic.

Hilarious material my dude, Delirious-era Eddie Murphy would be proud. Anyway, Blake publicly responded to the uproar with a non-apology that basically boils down to “Aw shucks, that was just me bein’ me”.

Dude, even disregarding their content, qualifying those tweets as ‘comedy’ is pretty generous. Thankfully, this means we probably won’t ever see the publication of Deer Stand Thinkin’: The Comical Musings of Blake Shelton.
