I’m not afraid to admit it: I’ll totally judge a book by its cover. When it comes to music, every Tuesday is met with an army of new releases. Albums, singles and compilations are left to run wild online, and it’s easy to get lost in the mix. There’re more than a few ways to discover something new, but what catches our eyes more than a great record label, familiar name or interesting title is the album art.

Without delay, here are this week’s best of the worst album covers. We’ve tried to strike a balance between all scenes, genres and levels of professionalism, but rest assured that every one of these totally exists. Seriously.

Pap Rita – Show – Hungary Music Magyar Pop

Wow, very doge. Such cover.

Blake Shelton – The Blake Shelton Collection

Those cold, dead eyes…

Parmalee – Feels Like Carolina

Matchbox 20 featuring Mr. Tumnus from The Chronicles of Narnia.

!!! – And Anyway It’s Christmas

Nice nips, Santa.

Chuck Berry – Rockin On

I, too, know how to use basic Photoshop filters. Who’s hiring?

Piano Tribute Players – Piano Tribute to Devil Wears Prada

This is a totally necessary thing that exists.

Polkadot Cadaver – From Bethlehem to Oblivion

This one checks every box: it’s tasteless, opportunistic and really poorly done.

Adriana Rocha – La Generala

K, whose aunt is this? And do they know she stole their Hurley hat?
