The Offspring wrote the new Sharknado theme

A new low for the band with no self-esteem, or just a bit of harmless fun?
There was a time when the Offspring were on top of the world; SoCal skaters with the best selling indie album of all time, a handful of chart-topping hits and an upstart label in Nitro Records.
But glory fades, and nothing lasts forever. Now a middling, aging collection of dad punks, the Offspring have been reduced to confounding style parodies, desperate pandering and, now, a new low: A song on about Sharknado.
A rewrite of “Gigantor” by the Dickies, “Sharkado” was, er, “written” exclusively for Sharknado: The 4th Awakens, putting the Offspring in the same breadth as “please remember me” actors like Tara Reid, Frankie Muniz and David Hasselhoff.
I wonder how their “Self-Esteem” is doing now? [h/t Punknews]
