Spraygun War sound like a nu-metal Skrillex with entry level political outrage.

Just when you thought any lingering memory of Buckcherry’s “Crazy Bitch” had faded away, singer Josh Todd went out and bought a snapback.

Yes, stripper music’s figurative creepy uncle has discovered dubstep, and with a new penchant for De La Rocha-ian politics and a boozy sway he’s formed Spraygun War, a nü-metal take on Skrillex. With the help of Buckcherry guitarist Stevie D., Spraygun War’s first single “OMG” is a delightfully cringeworthy spat of entry level political outrage, random shouting, and chunky drop-d chugs.

And the video? The video is even worse:

Watch above as the 46-year-old Todd bounces around like his diaper is damp to lines about blaming the system. Intercut with clips of generic popping and locking that wouldn’t be out of place in a bank commercial, the video is a moody black and white exercise in being five years too late and angry at nothing in particular. It looks like its entire aesthetic was inspired by P.O.D.’s “Southtown”, and sounds like something Macho Man Randy Savage would have been embarrassed to rap over.

It is very, very bad.

Anyway, here are some GIFs:
