The film features members of Backstreet Boys, *NSYNC, O-Town and 98° vs. the undead.

As threatened last year, the zombies + boy band members + post-apocalyptic wild west flick Dead 7 penned by Nick Carter is finally lurching into view.

Produced by The Asylum (the slumlords of the film world that gave us Sharknado), the basic cable exclusive features alums from Backstreet Boys (Carter, A.J. McLean and Howie Dorough), *NSYNC (Joey Fatone and Chris Kirkpatrick), 98° (Jeff Timmons) and O-Town (Erik-Michael Estrada, Jacob Underwood, Trevor Penick, and Dan Miller).

There’s an outside chance someone from 3Deep was on the catering team, but we’ll have to wait until the movie tumbles out onto the U.S. network SyFy on April Fools’ Day.

A trailer for this curio has arrived online and it looks like harmless campy fun with A.J. being so kind as to wear his “business casual” attire to set. According to Joey Fatone, there’s also going to be posse track done for the soundtrack for bonus boy band funzos.

Everyone seems to be having a good time and it’s probably a better cinematic offering than On The Line, so it’s hard to have any ill will towards Dead 7‘s daffy TV movie charms. Play your cards right, dudes, and you could pop up in the next Christopher Nolan movie.
