PREMIERE: Watch Cult Babies' new video for "Conspiracy Dog"

Last October, we premiered Cult Babies’ fuzzed-out monster of an album, Off To See The Lizard. Now, the Vancouver group reignite with a video for “Conspiracy Dog” as they gear up for a lengthy American tour.

This stylish clip directed by the trio of Aaron Cumming, Duncan McHugh, and Hannibal A Li features the members of Cult Babies in a gothy getaway to the bird sanctuary and local grocery store. It might feel like a fever dream landing somewhere between black metal iconography and the intro to The Big Lebowski, but the filmmakers explain that they were just trying to “freak out the normals.” The video was also partially inspired by the story of the West Memphis Three, so you’re not alone if it gives you the goosebumps.
