Chappelle was also filmed singing the Radiohead classic at Erykah Badu's birthday party.

Dave Chappelle is an unpredictable dude, to say the least. Between turning down a reported $50 million contract and bouncing to South Africa, disappearing for an extended period then resurfacing hella jacked, and opting to have a cigarette and read a book onstage rather than perform for an unruly audience, the man definitely has the propensity to surprise us.

Chappelle’s latest curveball, thankfully, is just pure fun. It’s become clear that the comedian loves karaoke – which in itself is neither here nor there. The surprising part is that the go-to song for Chappelle, a well known hip-hop head and R&B lover, is Radiohead’s “Creep.”

It gets better. Reddit user Peaches666 recently shared a story of Chappelle singing karaoke… at the strip club Devil’s Point. The establishment, which touts itself as “Portland’s rock ‘n’ roll strip club,” is famous for its Sunday ‘Stripparaoke’ night. The weekly event features audience members and the club’s dancers entertaining the crowd in what The Guardian once classily described as a “titillating portmanteau experience.”

According to Peaches666, Chappelle’s contribution consisted of “Creep,” “Roxanne” by The Police and The Fugees’ version of “Killing Me Softly.” All solid selections – but the Radiohead tune seems to be particularly close to his karaoke-lovin’ heart as this isn’t the first time he was seen busting it out. Earlier this year at Erykah Badu’s 45th birthday party, the comedian had the time of his life leading a decidedly hip-hop tinged singalong that you can check out below.
