The Ameritude of the USA Freedom Kids will make America great again.

Whenever you start to doubt we live in the most absurd of all possible worlds, a YouTube video comes along that reaffirms that, yep, the human race is doomed. Living in a cyberpunk dystopia does have its advantages though: there are the terabytes of funny cat videos, and insanely hilarious moments like this.

Taking a page from Frank Reynolds and the DPRK, Donald Trump decided a good way to kick off a rally in Pensacola, Florida was to have a a group of three young girls called the “USA Freedom Kids” lip-sync a gung-ho electronic anthem with lyrics so completely over-the-top and patriotic, they scan like parody. Words can’t do this new Giovinezza remix justice, so just watch “The Official Donald Trump Jam”:

Yeah! Deal from strength or get crushed every time! AMERITUDE! Love that disembodied chorus effect slathered everywhere, too. Freedom Kid father and writer of this monstrosity Jeff Popick told Time that the song was originally inspired by U.S. General George Patton, but he knew he could make it work as a Trump campaign tune after the Donald announced his candidacy.

“He’s got a great heart and a brilliant mind,” says Popick. “He has a methodology for success and winning that’s second to none. To me, he’s always just been an inspiration.”
