Axl Rose mysteriously cancels Kimmel appearance

If there’s one thing that bodes well for the successful reunion of your beloved rock institution, it’s last-minute TV cancellations courtesy of your notoriously volatile and occasionally unhinged frontman.

The Guns N’ Roses reunion is off to an auspicious start as Axl Rose cancelled tonight’s scheduled appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! He was expected to officially announce the GnR reunion news, and then, I don’t know, presumably read mean tweets about his image makeover.

Gunners everywhere shouldn’t be afraid just yet though. Despite their appetite for self-destruction, GnR will indeed be headlining Coachella 2016, complete with the whole gang (well, minus Izzy Stradlin, but who’s counting). Barring any further complications (and something tells me there will be more) we’ll all soon be receiving our recommended daily dose of reggae, or at least what Axl thinks reggae sounds like.
