The trippy Toronto R&B duo teach you how to train your dragon.

Toronto’s Dollar Paris and Charli Champ (a.k.a. bizZarh) emerged on the scene as ultra cool teens a few years back, updating the Soulquarian tradition of Erykah Badu with futuristic soundworlds of swirling synths and sputtering beats.

After dropping the song “Dragon” earlier this summer with cartoonish artwork riffing on a certain fantasy book and film series, they’ve hit the update button once again with a dreamlike video directed by Joseph Zentil and John Filmore. The latest entry in the AUX Video Fund series, connecting our favourite artists with the resources they need to create exciting original work, flips the script on some hip-hop hallmarks. Watch bizZarh roll their low-rider through a junkyard to arrive with their squad at a supernatural beach ritual in the witching hour.

Check out the video for “Dragon” above.
