AUX loves music videos. So much so that we are taking our fandom one step further and actually helping to create the art that, until now, we’ve only excitedly blathered at you about.

AUX Video Fund connects our favorite artists with the resources they need to create exciting original work. Consider it a hobby label we’re running out of our basement. (But actually. Mom and Dad moved us to the basement. We’re cool with it so long as they STAY OUT OF OUR ROOM!!). Ryan Hemsworth’s “One For Me” is the first in a series of videos that AUX has helped fund. Above all, it’s something we’re excited to present as fans. We hope you’re as stoked as we are.

“Martin C. Pariseau approached me about making ‘the most boring video for 2014,'” Hemsworth explains about the video. “At this point in my life, I realized it would be a great thing to do because the DJ lifestyle is one associated with being the life of the party and never having a dull moment. The truth is that it’s mostly the down moments of waiting and hanging out by yourself. The track itself is already about walking through the middle of a crowd feeling alone. So driving around Montreal in a Lamborghini yawning felt like a good way of showing the ridiculous, dull moments of being a laptop artist put on some sort of pedestal in 2014.”
