Old as it makes us feel to admit it, 1985 was a long time ago. In years, 30, but in practice, it feels like far more. Proving that, here’s an absolutely bizarre car commercial starring Grace Jones as, like… a garage.
It’s for Citroën, an automotive non-Europeans or people under the age of 40 might not be familiar with.
The commercial was quickly banned for allegedly promoting “excessive speeding,” which is a shame, because as advertisements go, it’s one of a kind. Kind of like Grace Jones, who at 67, is as striking as ever.
