This is the opposite of the dark side of the Force.

Jonathan Liu has a bit of a dilemma on his hands. His two-and-a-half-year-old daughter is super into Star Wars, but she seems most comfortable living life on the dark side of the force.

As parents are wont to do, Jonathan shared the original Star Wars trilogy with his family. His toddler took a shining to the iconic film series even with bedtime cutting off her ability to watch Episodes IV-VI in full. In what’s surely troubling news to the Rebel Alliance, the tyke was immediately captivated by Darth Vader.

“When he first appeared on the screen, she started mimicking the sound of his breathing,” wrote Jonathan on GeekDad. “When the Imperial March started playing, she stood up and danced! Lately she keeps asking us to sing the ‘Star Wars song’–sometimes she means the theme song, but quite often what she really wants to hear is Darth Vader’s theme instead.”

Which brings us to this…

Yup, that’s baby monitor video of the daughter singing the “Imperial March” theme in her crib. It’s 95% super cute and 5% kinda terrifying. If she starts showcasing telekinetic powers we’re all totally screwed.
