His life is filled with fan letters and corny jokes, but he's pretty cool about it.

It can’t be easy to have the same name as a pop colossus, but one dude in Seattle seems to be getting by just fine.

The fella’s name? Taylor Swift. We were kinda hoping for Robyn Rihanna Fenty, but what can you do?

West Coast Taylor talked about his life being tied to The Mighty Swift in one of those local TV slice of life stories that pop up on the news. In his chat with Seattle’s KOMO 4, Taylor II comes across like an awfully nice guy considering how many wisecrack he gets about sharing a name with Ms. 1989. They both have lovely blonde hairdos which is something they can talk about if he ever gets an invitation to her squad.

Here’s one of the standard interactions Taylor Swift (Seattle edition) gets a fair bit.

“When at Starbucks, they ask your name. And you say Taylor, and it’s like ‘Oh, wouldn’t it be funny if your last name was Swift?! It’s like… here’s my debit card, ha ha ha, surprise,” he explained.

To be fair, he may be one of maybe six people who’s name doesn’t get fucked up by a Starbucks barista.

Taylor, who works as a photographer, also has received tons of misdirected fan letters that popped up at his (now defunct) taylorswift@gmail.com handle. It’s a quirk in his life that he’s chosen to roll with.

“It’s a great confidence booster,” he shared. “It’s like endless amounts of ‘You’re beautiful, you’re so talented, you’re a great role model, you have a beautiful voice’ and here I am just like, ‘Oh, thank you!'”

The dude has none of the recording megastar’s albums in his collection, but there’s no beef between the Taylors. Let Taylor II charm you by checking out the video below and take a moment to wonder if he gets emails from Selena Gomez every now and again.
