Snoop Dogg finally launches his own brand of weed

Leafs by Snoop is the marijuana line the world has been craving.

Some things are completely shocking when you first find out about them: There’s an arrow in the Fedex logo, KY Jelly is not some kind of delicious dessert, and Snoop Dogg didn’t actually have his own line of branded marijuana until now. Well, live and learn!

The Doggfather’s own crop, Leafs by Snoop, is currently available on dispensary shelves and presumably in dank basements across Colorado. The product line includes various types of marijuana flowers and flavours, from Lemon Pie to Tangerine Man to Cali Kush. Also available: edibles like chocolate bars and candy made with activated cannabis oil, for those of us who’d rather quite literally nip our munchies in the bud.

Though he can’t legally own or operate the brand as he is not a Colorado resident (Leafs by Snoop will be grown and sold by LivWell), Snoop maintains that he personally hand (and lung, probably) selects the marijuana strains for their “aroma, taste, effect and bud structure.”

While Leafs by Snoop was a long time coming, this isn’t Snoop’s first rodeo in the wonderful, sleepy world of pot branding: back in September, Snoop launched his own weed-focused digital media platform, Merry Jane, featuring original digital content like the show Deflowered, where people detail their first smoking experiences. It’s also notable for Snoop actually using the phrase “cannabis 2.0” in a promotional video.
