The model/actress "wasn't into" the video at all.

Sure, most of us wish we could take back certain things we did when we were younger, but for most of us that doesn’t include starring in the video for a major pop hit that’s been widely derided as a rape anthem. Not exactly “banged up Dad’s car” on the relatability scale, but that’s just what model/actress and “Blurred Lines” prop star Emily Ratajkowski regrets most about her early, pre-fame days.

Speaking on the music video of Robin Thicke’s hymn for skeevs, the Gone Girl/We Are Your Friends actress told InStyle magazine that she “wasn’t into the idea at all at first.” She went on:

I think I came off as a bit annoyed in the video. Now, it’s the bane of my existence. When anyone comes up to me about ‘Blurred Lines,’ I’m like, are we seriously talking about a video from three years ago?”

Has it really been three years already since “Blurred Lines”? Three years since the son of Jason Seaver heard a Marvin Gaye song, thought to himself “hell I can write grosser lyrics than that“, made a deeply problematic video, and inexplicably became a megastar (for about two weeks)? My my, time sure flies when you’re living in a cultural dark age.
