For bonus "wait, what?" marks, GnR's '80s hit "Sweet Child O Mine" was playing at the time.

Here I go, here I go, here I go again. Girls, what’s my weakness? Jumping from speaker to speaker, apparently.

Hip-hop heroes Salt-N-Pepa were one of the star attractions at Brooklyn’s nostalgia soaked ’90s Fest, and one member suffered battle damage before the event was through. At one point, Pepa was hyping up the crowd as the ’80s Guns N’ Roses classic “Sweet Child O’ Mine” was blasting through the speakers. This anachronism was quickly met with the cosmic punishment of Pepa attempting to bounce from one spot to the next, only to completely botch her landing.

Here’s the TMZ footage of the failed attempt.

Oof.

Pepa, who appears unlikely to try out for American Ninja Warrior anytime soon, survived the spill and continued on like a champ.

“I’ve never known any other city that could make me do that,” she told the audience. “New York City got me busting my ass, y’all got me hyped up in here.”
