Harper, what's good?

Canada’s hardest hitting political journalist Nardwuar the Human Serviette recently hijacked a press conference from a seemingly befuddled Justin Trudeau.

Stretching far past his allotted time on the mic at the Q ‘n’ A portion of the event, Nardwuar fired off questions about records named after members of the Liberal leader’s family. These included Dinah Christie’s “Justin Pierre” (on the Molson Canadian label, ‘natch) and a goofball rock tune by Les Sinners called “Go Go Trudeau.”

With a bit of coercion, Nardwuar also convinced Trudeau to join him in a round of the Hip Flip. This 1960s game involves players pressing their hands against their stomachs and gyrating to spin the centre piece over the top. Paul Martin, Jean Chretien, Jack Layton, and Michael Ignatieff have all previously played ball, while Stephen Harper allegedly refused. In our opinion, blowing off Nardwuar may be the most damning indictment in the Canadian political landscape.
