The dream of the '90s is alive on Taylor Swift's tour.

It’s a great time to be a fan of Taylor Swift and/or the brilliant stars of the world’s cultural golden age, the 1990s.

Since kicking off her 1989 world tour, Tay-Tay has brought out a veritable cavalcade of top-shelf performers from what anthropologists now refer to as the Snap-Bracelet Era: Julia Roberts, Kobe Bryant, Heidi Klum, Matt LeBlanc, Natalie Maines, Alanis Morissette, Mary J. Blige… and many more! What a (bafflingly) broad range of talent!

Taylor may have topped herself, though, with the special guest at last night’s show in Los Angeles. Yeah, I mean, Justin Timberlake and Selena Gomez both performed, which is pretty cool… but is it ’90s cool? Hell no! WE needed Lisa Kudrow of course, performing her Friends‘ character Phoebe Buffay’s hit song “Smelly Cat.” Of course!

Wow! How can anything top this? Who will T. Swift bring out when the tour continues in San Diego? Smart money says: Angela Lansbury, to perform the Murder, She Wrote theme. You heard it here first.
