Who knew Josh Donaldson had such good tone?

The Blue Jays’ performance this year has been music to fans’ ears. While most Toronto baseball fans are content to whittle away their free times singing the team’s praises on BlueJays.com or, I don’t know, literally whittling little Roberto Osuna statuettes, one industrious Jays fan has put all his contemporaries to shame.

To celebrate the team’s so-far incredible 2015 season, YouTube user TimG has compiled every single one of the teams’ home runs so far this year, and sync’d them perfectly to Johnny Cash’s performance of folk standard “God’s Gonna Cut You Down”:

That’s a lot of dingers! Strangely, what I find most hypnotizing is the live strike zone graphic updating directly on the off-beat every time. Another protip: try playing at 2x speed and presto! Instant Gun Club song. Well, Jays fans, now you got a great option when you’re looking for a video to Justin Smoak to.
