Slam into the wall of death from the safety of your computer.

So, look – while technology has done amazing things for the world in the past few years, I know as an average metal fan you’ve got one question on your mind: “What has it done for me?”

Question no more, my breakdown-loving brosephs and brosephinas. The lovely folks at Metalovision decided to harness the power of 360-degree camera technology for its most noble use yet: filming the exact moment when a moshpit goes absolutely bonkers.

To make things extra fun, it’s not your run of the mill pit but rather the ultra violent, occasionally fatal ‘wall of death’ variety where the crowd is separated down the middle and then crashes into each other… because horns up, I guess?

Anywho, make sure to use the nifty arrows to look away from the stage and towards the wall-of-deathers for the moment of impact… and then look around to crack up at everyone else scrambling to safety and stage divers eating it over the front barriers. Word is when viewing this with the Oculus Rift virtual reality headset you can almost feel yourself getting kicked in the head.
