So…we all know the Tidal launch didn’t go all that well.

I’m aware that sentence is an extreme understatement, comparable to ‘Lady Gaga dresses oddly at times‘ or ‘Chris Brown is prone to disagreeable behavior.’ But I feel like after Tidal’s rapid disappearance from App Store charts, management problems and derision by fans and artists alike, we need to let up on Jay-Z and Co a little. I mean it guys. Look, remember when Jigga in particular appeared to be having a rough time and dropped some #TidalFacts in a slew of defensive tweets he deemed a “stream of consciousness?”

What does one of you meanie-heads immediately go and do? Of course – you create a hurtful (and incredibly hilarious) parody @Tidalfacts account featuring  gems like “50 Cent thinks Tidal is an energy drink. #TidalFacts.” Amongst others.

Not cool, guys. And although the offending party has now deactivated the account after deciding to show some decency to his fellow man (or following a terrifying visit from Beanie Sigel), it’s clear that the artists at Tidal’s helm are still suffering. Not just emotionally, but  financially as well thanks to dastardly competitors such as Spotify and Rdio. Now, finally, someone has decided to take a stand. Watch this brilliant sorry-not-sorry PSA and remember – only you can end their suffering.
