Toronto certainly doesn’t have a shortage of music festivals, with more and more big-ticket events like Bestival and WayHome introducing themselves to the market this year. One that has established itself as a favourite in the city over the past few years is Riot Fest, and this year’s lineup is once again stacked with heavy hitters.

A reunited Alexisonfire leads the announcement, followed closely by Wu-Tang Clan, Rancid (playing …And Out Come the Wolves), Motörhead, All Time Low, Tyler, The Creator, Coheed and Cambria, Atmosphere, Drive Like Jehu, Echo & the Bunnymen, Thrice, Frank Turner, Eagles Of Death Metal, Against Me!, Babes In Toyland, Yelawolf, The Airborne Toxic Event, The Joy Formidable, Andrew W.K., Bayside, GWAR, The Thurston Moore Band, FIDLAR, Doomtree, Jazz Cartier, D.O.A., Moneen, Die Mannequin, Heat, OBGMs, Wildlife, Nova Rockafeller, The Dirty Nil, Indian Handcrafts, Like Pacific, The Dying Arts, Safe To Say, PARTYCAT, Willa, Tasha The Amazon, Rarity, Foxtrott, Twin River, Black Mastiff, and Tomahawk Love.

The announcement also teased “????, ????” near the top of the announcement and promises that more major headliners are yet to be announced.

The festival will once again take place at Downsview park on September 19 and 20. Tickets are available here for a limited time early bird price. We’ll keep you updated on additional headliner announcements.
