Nickelback are wanted by the Australian police

If you’ve ever assumed that the public outcry against Nickelback is limited to Canada, you must have missed the petition to remove their music from a Detroit Lions halftime show. Or the Kickstarter to stop them from performing in London. Now, the jokers at the Queensland, Australia police service have shared a wanted poster on their official facebook page with the following message:

Police are on the lookout for these men who are believed to be impersonating musicians around Boondall this evening.

Avoid the area. It may be hazardous to your hearing and street cred.

Hanna, Alberta’s greatest grunt-rockers kick off their No Fixed Address tour in Brisbane, Queensland tonight. In our opinion, the use of the phrase “street cred” might be the bigger crime here. Plus, as AUX contributor Josiah Hughes pointed out, some Nickelbackers don’t agree with this dank meme.
