Toronto synth-pop artist Lyon is ramping up for a new album release later this year (her first since 2013’s acclaimed Indian Summer EP), first with the dreamy “Catch Me If I Fall,” and now with the video for “Cut Me Loose,” premiering right here on AUX below.
Trigger warning, Spring-hungry Canadians! Directed by Paul Steward, “Cut Me Loose” was filmed in Ontario’s natural, wintry beauty, resulting in a spacious and peaceful visual for a song about “letting go and creating one’s own path.”
Lyon will perform at Toronto’s Mod Club on May 8 (and is trekking to California for a few dates after that). Add “Cut Me Loose” to your digital library now via iTunes.
