soulDecision's Trevor Guthrie is doing just fine post-"Faded"

soulDecision fans will waste no time pointing out that the Vancouver pop band didn’t deserve to be lumped in with the rest of the late-90s boy bands.

And you know what? They’re right. You might be surprised to learn that even though you haven’t thought of ’em since “Faded” topped the charts back in 2000, lead singer Trevor Guthrie’s been active ever since, writing songs for people and even singing on Armin van Buuren’s massively popular “This Is What It Feels Like” back in 2013.

The Juno Awards caught up with Guthrie behind the scenes at the big show, where he talked about how long he’s kicked around the Canadian awards scene, how tough it is to hand over a great song and life post-soulDecision.
