Kiesza's Junos performance proved why her star is on the rise

Kiesza had one hell of a weekend at the Junos, taking away the awards for dance recording of the year, for her brilliant first album Sound of a Woman, and video of the year for her endlessly endearing single, “Hideaway.”

Nobody who’s been following the Calgary singer’s rise was surprised by the wins, but if you didn’t know of her before the awards, her performance on Sunday certainly put the hype in context. Kiesza isn’t just set for big things; she’s well on her way.
