The Our Lady Peace Drummer and 'Jonovision' host trade industry stories, anecdotes, and overall #Canadianity.

Though it’s been around for just over a year now, we’ve only recently become hip to the Taggart and Torrens podcast (aka Canadianity), and while we’ve just started to dig in, we already kind of love it.

From stories of tour bus bathroom etiquette (no dookies) to shady Hollywood agents, right back to Canadiana minutiae like documenting “Canada’s rich history in questionable bars, spots, and hangouts” in a series called the Greasies, all without any sort of overreaching attempt to be anything but pals chatting about what they love, Candianity is so insanely charming and kind of right up our alley.

Need more proof? The two have a segment called “Bahd of the Month,” honouring listeners’ best pals for the act of just being a good bahd. We love good buds! Fam.

The most recent episode features Jeremy Taggart’s Top 5 Log Driver jams, for instance, and while that sounds like a straight up nightmare, they make it work. Listen below, get more episodes at TaggartnTorrens.ca, and check back with us in another few episodes to see if our Canadian politeness has worn off and we’re back to being cynical jerks or whether we remain the fans we’ve always been of these two.
