Mugshots document this criminal's transition from a neo-Nazi into a hipster

When you think of white-supremacist music, a few things come to mind: Oi!, quite sadly, is first and foremost, thanks to Skrewdriver and legions of terrible RAC bands. (Note: There’s tons of wonderful non-racist Oi!, which we highly recommend.) Or, perhaps, Varg Vikernes. Maybe, for true white-power heads, hip-hop comes to minds. But no one expected hipsters—and the music they may listen to—to be associated with neo-Nazism.
Well, OK, one quick quibble: In Germany, apparently Nipsters (Nazi hipters, natch) are a real thing, and they’re trying to make fascism popular for a new, young demographic. But we never expected to see a nipster in North America. That is, of course, until we came across a Texan named Andrew Stephen Martin.
Martin’s a member of the Aryan Brotherhood, a white supremacist prison gang, and he hit our radar after he was arrested trying to steal Hot Pockets from a Wal Mart. As Chron.com notes, his mugshots reveal a stunning transformation: He begins as a white-power mook and ends up a hipster. Check the, uh, unlikely transition above.
