"Weird Al" Yankovic is the newest Batman villain

Barton Mathis’ Dollmaker is one of the more sadistic villains in the DC Comics canon.

Wearing a mask made from the skin of his father, who as a child he watched hunt and cannibalize people before being shot and killed by Commissioner Jim Gordon, Mathis is a psychopathic serial killer who uses his uncanny surgical ability to make dolls out of his victims’ human remains. At one point, he bonds with the Joker by cutting off a portion of the skin on his face.

And in an upcoming animated film, he’ll be voiced by none other than… “Weird Al” Yankovic.

According to Consequence of Sound, Yankovic will voice the Dollmaker in Batman vs. Robin, an upcoming DC Comics movie set to premiere this spring at Anaheim’s WonderCon convention. Details are otherwise sparse, though we’re certainly intrigued.
