The reason? He's a dummy.

Chris Brown’s horrific assault on Rihanna, his ex, continues to haunt the X singer. Today, we learned that the Ray Rice sympathizer‘s parole, related to his assault charges, has been revoked after the singer performed at a nightclub—and on the same evening, five people got shot. Brown wasn’t directly connected to the shootings, but nonetheless, he’s still a complete dummy: His concert took place in San Jose, but as a condition of his parole, he isn’t allowed to leave Los Angeles county. (Which is good news for the people of Nova Scotia.) We repeat: What a complete dummy.

Brown’s appearance at the club wasn’t even covert. The concert was promoted by San Jose radio station 106 KMEL, and after the shootings, Brown tweeted from the club, stating that he was unharmed. Pretty stupid? You bet. Brown’s judge has set a March 20 hearing in order to determine the singer’s progress—he also has 200 hours of community service, which, Rolling Stone reports, haven’t been completed.

Check footage of Brown’s appearance in San Jose below.
