Like the chip butty—the unholy union of potato chips and sandwich bread—some pairings were just meant to happen. Like, for example, Seinfeld and chillwave, who make for strange (but completely perfect) dance partners. Who knew?
Well, Soundcloud user /\belard, apparently. He dropped “What’s the Deal With Airplane Food,” which is nothing but pure, unadulterated heat. Combining the Seinfeld theme’s ’90s-era slap bass with mellow-ass synths, the track takes the best of Jerry, Elaine, Kramer and co. and pairs it with some chill-ass Saint Pepsi vibes. It works way, way better than it should.
