Yo La Tengo act out a Seinfeld episode on current tour

Yo La Tengo are so great and have been a band for forever, so if they want to pull stunts like acting out an episode of Seinfeld on stage before they play a regular set, well, why not.

The band’s current tour involves a spinning wheel that chooses an activity for the band, and as Spinner reported, on Friday night in Chicago, the wheel landed on Sitcom Theatre. Members Georgia Hubley, Ira Kaplan, and James McNew acted out the Chinese restaurant episode—the whole thing—before playing a full set.
