If we were throwing together our own poseur-crushing punk-rock starter kit, we know which shirt we’d include: It’d be an Out Come the Wolves-era Rancid shirt. Indeed, Rancid tees have become so ubiquitous in punk circles, they’re being spotted everywhere—including CBC studios.

Tim Armstrong and co. spotted the above tee at the CBC, and they posted it on Facebook, with a simple “caption this photo.” The responses were amazing: Who was the man in this time photobomb? Was it CBC’s famed Out Comes the News segment? Was it the fourth 3tard?

Well, no. As one commenter noted, it’s actually a member of punk institution the Ripcordz, who shared the photo themselves on Facebook. Turns out the Rancid tee-wearing punk is Paul Gott, who, when he’s not uppin’ the punx, works as a TV producer for CBC Montreal.

Junkie man Paul Ripcord, tell us where the story is.
