Because she can’t go more than a few minutes without painting herself as some sort of sleaze-rock supermuse, noted egomaniac Courtney Love has turned her sights against her ex-boyfriend and fellow narcissist Billy Corgan.

In an otherwise inoccuous interwith with BBC 6’s Matt Everitt, Love managed to turn a conversation on her favourite guitarists into a series of revelations nobody needed to hear. Among them, that she’s allegedly the inspiration for seemingly every hit Smashing Pumpkins song.

Love says that songs like “Today,” “Disarm,” and “Cherub Rock” are about her, adding that “most of Siamese Dream is about her, but not “Spaceboy,” because that’s about Billy Corgan’s brother.

But wait, there’s more: Corgan apparently wrote at least one song on Love’s relationship with Trent Reznor, which she says he was jealous of, and that at least one song off Melon Collie and the Infinite Sadness, “Tonight, Tonight,” is inspired by the noted Malaysia Airlines truther.

Ironically, the interview was punctuated when Love said that Billy Corgan “can’t seem to get over the lump and become relevant,” for which we’ve got to commend host Everitt for not bursting out into audible, hysterical laughter.

In the interview, which you can listen to here, she also calls Dave Navarro “shreddy and lame,” says she can “write a song but can’t execute it well” and admits she’s a “shite guitarist.” [h/t Death and Taxes]
