With a new album on the way, the Foo Fighters are reigniting their efforts as the biggest every-man band on the planet. This time, that meant secret gigs as The Holy Shits in England, one of which saw them play for, and later with, Britain’s own UK Foo Fighters cover band.
“We don’t wanna shit the bed in front of the UK Foo Fighters. They’ll be like, ‘That’s not how it goes.'”
Later in the show, he brought his English imitator, Jay, on stage for “White Limo” to sing, and while they don’t look too much alike, his ability to nail the Wasting Light song under pressure has to be commended.
“I was on vacation for three and a half minutes,” joked Grohl after the song. [h/t NME]
