PREMIERE: Watch Rec Centre’s video for "Like I Care"

Vancouver’s Alex Hudson is the mastermind behind moony-eyed pop project Rec Centre, a frequent member of the Jay Arner live band, and an X-Files mega-fan.
Evidence of the latter fact can be found in the title of his upcoming album, Monster of the Week, and the video for its first single, “Like I Care”, featuring a faux Mulder and Scully on the trail of a spooky skeleton creature. Jay Arner/Energy Slime’s Jessica Delisle makes her directorial debut with this pitch-perfect homage starring Robert Ondzik and Regan Taylor as the agitated FBI agents, Hudson as the monster, Arner as stunt-driver, and drummer Tom Whalen credited with special effects.
