The Israeli musician and animator Kutiman wowed the Internet in the early days of YouTube when he made songs by sampling together different videos. The mixing technique, which was transplanted from hip-hop production, showed some of the possibilities of online media at a time when we were still trying to figure out the basics. It culminated in the album ThruYOU, an online music video project, which gained tens of millions of views and earned him a gig playing at the Guggenheim Museum in New York. Since then, he has reminded quiet. Until now…

That’s “No One In This World,” the second track from his followup album, Thru You Too, due out October 1st.

This is going to be sick. I mean, who thought you could make something so amazing from messing around on the Internet? What have YOU accomplished today?
