George Harrison believed in the natural laws of nature, making what we’re about to say all the more fitting: A memorial tree planted in his honour has been destroyed… by Beetles.

According to the Los Angeles Times, the sapling planted in a Los Angeles park in tribute to the legendary Beatles guitarist has been infested by bark and ladybug beetles, who’ve withered away at the ten foot tree since its planting in 2004.

Not to worry, though: Councilman Tom LaBonge says the tree will be replaced.
