We know: We mock dads for their obsessions with the blues, their frumpy taste in denim, and the fact that they’re some variation of Coach Taylor, eyebrows from The OC, or Uncle Phil. But at the end of the day, dads are the best. They helped give birth to you. They let you steal their Springsteen vinyl when you turned 22. And, in Lance Underwood’s case, they do adorable things for the kids, like creating a Tumblr featuring his lil’ pups in classic album covers. Underwood, for his part, uploaded his spot-on creations to his Tumblr, which feature his kids on everything from Will Smith and DJ Jazzy Jeff’s I’m the Rapper, He’s the DJ to Johnny Cash’s At Folsom Prison.
Here are 15 of our favourites. Check more of Underwood’s adorable creations here, and many thanks to Pigeons and Planes for the tip. Now, go give your dad a hug.
