Oh sweet, beautiful Texas. The last day at SXSW is always bittersweet; you’re exhausted and poisoned and ready to go home and sleep, but also no WAY am I going back to winter and real life in Canada.

Saturday morning was a slow start because, see above, it’s the last day of SXSW. Team AUX was all over the place this time; some got out the door early to try to catch some day shows (including visiting our pals at Canada House, aka our Texas beacon, as seen below), some of us plugged away at work at our homebase, a few checked out Flatstock, the amazing gig poster sale where we all got option paralysis, interviews were done all over town, and we obviously had to hit up #sxsbites for Chilantro.

The daytime hours were so jammed that we had no choice but to retreat to AUX HQ, grab a mountain of crawfish, and enjoy some Texas outdoors while we dumped video footage, packed for our early morning departure, and planned the rest of the night out—which ended up being a bootleg pedicab (minivan) voyage to a rec centre in the middle of nowhere for the Illmore’s YMCMB night (where, sadly, there was no Drake or Nicki appearances). As seen through our eyes, SXSW, day goodbye.

Out here, working, all day, every day.

See?

One of the many wonderful pedi cab depots/hang spots.

Stay spooky, Austin.

Delicious (not really) crawfish.
