PREMIERE: Slates debut the video for "Taiga"

Alberta’s Slates have been bubbling up through the Canadian punk scene for years, but with the their forthcoming full-length Taiga on the horizon, things look like they’re about to finally boil over. Recorded with Steve Albini, the legendary recording engineer behind Nirvana’s In Utero, Taiga is the band’s third album and first for New Damage Records. Today, we’re happy to premiere the title track’s brand new video prior to its release on February 25th. Check the vid below.
Naturally, the release of a new album means an incoming tour, and while Slates have conquered everywhere from Cuba and Bosnia to the Yukon, their upcoming tour will more naturally see them headlining cities across Western Canada, including back-to-back gigs in their hometown of Edmonton.
