Loveable Canadian stoner Jay Baruchel is apparently a big fan of British metalcore goobers Bring Me the Horizon, and last night extended his resumé beyond writer, director, actor when he joined the band on stage in Montreal.
Not one to just stand around smirking, the This Is the End star joined singer Oli Sykes on the mic during the bro-riffic breakdown in “Antivist.”
I’m sick to death of swallowing every single thing I’m fed.
Middle fingers up, if you don’t give a fuck!
You think you’re changing anything?
Question everything!
Since the incident, Baruchel took to Twitter to express his gratitude to the metalcore titans.
Massive, heartfelt thank you to @bmthofficial for their hospitality, letting me be a groupie all day and allowing me to ruin their set.

We don’t really know the context behind this, whether Baruchel’s a longtime fan of the genre or what, but we do know the show took place almost one year to the day that he was dumped by his fiancée, actress Alison Pill, so we wouldn’t put it past heartbreak to make the guy want to mosh out some of that sad.
“Alone again, naturally. Heartbroken,” he wrote in a since-deleted Tweet. “I won’t be on twitter for awhile gang. Getting dumped rules.”
We can understand why he’d want to blow of some stress with his boys. But in this case, his boys happen to be a British band whose lead singer sometimes pisses on his fans.
Crucial mosh, Jay. Crucial. [via PRP]
