Last week, I was wondering what was happening with Sebastien Grainger these days, and when we’d be lucky enough to hear some of his new music. As if he and his label were reading my mind, I got a press release about the Death From Above 1979 singer/drummer releasing a solo release, “Yours To Discover” (out Nov. 12th via Last Gang Records).

Not only does the album share its name with Ontario’s motto, its “a declaration of peace in a time of war. It’s an invitation to an exciting new land where back to basics pop lunges forward with a peerless contemporary sound.”

His first single is “Going With You,” which features bright, ravaging synths, Grainger’s signature vocal delivery, and a catchy power-pop hook. Perfect for Fridays and something you’ll be singing along to after one listen. Check it out below.
