Track Of The Week: "Celestial" by Vimes

I’m kinda hooked on this earworm from electronic duo Vimes called “Celestial.” The track is their third single released via Berlin tastemaker label, Humming Records (out September 30th).

The pair of Azhar Syed and Julian Stetter originate from Germany’s capitol of techno, Cologne, and met when Julian moved to Germany to study visuals arts. Known for vibrant live shows, combining live instruments with electronic elements and stirring visuals, the past 12 months has seen the band support Hot Chip in Mexico, play headline sets across Europe as well as numerous continental festivals including Dockville, Eurosonic, First We Take Berlin and Reeperbahn Festival. We would have seen them at this years SXSW and Canadian Music Week, if visa complications hadn’t prevented them from coming.
