Snoop Lion wins one pound of pot in boxing bet

Remember ten years ago when Snoop Dogg said he’d quit smoking weed and nobody bought it? Yeah, that’s definitely in the past. Earlier this week Snoop (now Lion) took to Instagram to gloat about his winnings from the Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs Canelo Alvarez fight of this past weekend. While the collage he posted did feature a bunch of green in a garbage bag, it was weed, not cash, that served as Snoop’s reward.

Here’s what the reggae loving rapper had to say:

“Thanks to the champ money may for winning me a pound from my mexican buddy Lui !! U r the pound for pound best! N I’m gonna smoke 2 dat !!!”
