Polaris Prize unveils Sam the Record Man inspired t-shirt

The Sam the Record Man sign saga is obviously near and dear to our hearts, so we did an excited double take last night when the people behind the Polaris Prize unveiled their new, exclusive t-shirt design inspired by flagship store’s long dead storefront.

Limited to just 50 tees total, their new design appropriates half of the unused sign (someone had to!) on the trademark red Sam’s background colour. It’s going to be sold at the Drake General Store, the Polaris Online Store and the Polaris Gala itself this coming Monday.

Expect the shirts to sell quick, even at $45.
