Last night, Juicy J took to Twitter to offer what we've decided to call the Twerk for Tuition competition. While he's since deleted the tweet, J was offering $50k to "the chick that can twerk," and while the rules were never stated, we'll assume "don't be Miley Cyrus" was top of the list.

Last night, Juicy J took to Twitter to offer what we’ve decided to call the Twerk for Tuition competition. While he’s since deleted the tweet, J was offering $50k to “the best chick that can twerk,” and while the rules were never stated, we’ll assume “don’t be Miley Cyrus” was top of the list.

Was this a real offer? Probably not. Juicy J’s pulling out all the stunts leading up to the release of his new album, including a stream of Stay Trippy hidden in a flash game that forced the user to whip money and paint at strippers to unlock new songs.

There’s a bigger question here, too. Is this what “ratchet” means? And is this ethical? Even if Juicy’s intentions were earnest, it’s likely someone tapped him on the back and explained the amount of work this would actually entail.

He’d have to get a website set up, apply for a lottery license, construct a submission system and iron out an impartial judging system and set of rules.

Or maybe he would have just scanned his Twitter replies and sent the money through PayPal. Unfortunately we might never know the truth.
