Arcade Fire confirm 'Reflektor' connection

Though they’re still not confirming whether it’s the title of their upcoming album, Arcade Fire have finally fessed up to the Reflektor street art that’s been popping up across the globe in recent months.

Spotted in Manhattan by Arcade Fire Tube, a new banner finally has the band’s name and the Reflektor symbol together as one, with this yet again teasing 9PM on September 9th.

Reflektor, if that’s what it’s in fact going to be called, is confirmed for release on October 29th. Seems a little late for the band to be confirming the album title, since by then official word will long since have leaked out of the manufacturing process. More likely then is it that we’ll be getting a new song (or video) on the 9th. Time will tell, it seems. [via Rolling Stone]
